Video-Marketing Table tennis world cup

We are located at the trade hall 6 of Düsseldorf. With over 25.000 square meters its one of the biggest event halls of Messe Düsseldorf and its very rare that you have the chance to see that space completely empty. In the middle of the room there is a ping pong table, which was provided by the DCSE just for our sports trailer shoot.

Our crew prepares the Arri film lights above the table and set up the first shot. The technician shuts down the big windows and everything disappears in complete darkens accept our scene. We set up our Red-Dragon camera, adjust the video gimbal and start to shoot some test shots from the wave-board. Patrissa Solja, european table tennis champion, and Timo Boll, professional table tennis player and nr. 5 of the world ranking, arrive at todays location and get dressed for the video shoot.

There is not much time left for us, because both players are in the middle of their world cup training and they have to go back to their training camp after the video shoot and a press conference. With some last instructions to the athlete we capture an exciting match between those two competitors in that big empty event location, which will be the same location where the table tennis World Cup 2017 will take place.
