Video portrait of Martin Schläpfer. The choreographer and director and his ballet ensemble “Ballett am Rhein” is one of the most innovative ballet companies in Germany and was awarded the title “Best Company” in 2013, 2014 and 2015..
During the cultural exchange program with the Russian Ballet in Moscow we had the chance to shoot a portrait of Martin Schläpfer and his passion as an artist. It was the return visit to a previous guest performance in Düsseldorf. The video portrait shows in detail the different steps of the journey up to the final performance in Moscow.
With an aesthetic visual language combined with classical music, Neiser Filmproduktion transports in this video the emotions, the hardness of the work and also the expressive power of his work in a new format.
A small film team accompanied the Neiser Filmproduktion the ballet ensemble. The firm integration into the travel group provided real, authentic images in this enormous and impressive city of Moscow.
